The basic version of the EXMount system utilises a Simple Weight System to assist with balance.  Small weights (not included) can be added to the plate at the rear of the mount in place of a battery plate.

The 'EXMount - Basic' shares some of the same features of the other versions of the mount:

• Large thumbwheel for attaching the camera via the 1/4" baseplate thread
• Quick Release Button to move the shoulder pad between its forward and rear positions
• VCT-14 tripod interface for attaching the mount to a VCT-14 style baseplate
• Contoured shoulder pad

The V-Lock version of the EXMount allows the mounting of a V-Lock type battery for powering^* the EX-3 and providing balance for the camera.

Features of the 'EXMount - V-Lock':

• Large thumbwheel for attaching the camera via the 1/4" baseplate thread
